What to Know About Soy Wax
Frosting Is Natural
Soy wax may develop a white, chalky coating called frosting. Don’t worry—this is a natural characteristic of soy and a sign of purity. It does not affect performance or scent.
Subtle Scent Throw at First Burn
Soy wax releases fragrance more gradually than paraffin. Let the wax pool fully to the edges during your first burn to maximize scent throw in future burns.
Longer, Slower Burn
Our soy wax burns cleaner and longer—meaning more hours of enjoyment from each candle, with less soot or smoke.
Memory Matters
Allow your candle to burn until the entire top layer melts (usually 2–3 hours) to avoid “tunneling.” Soy wax has a memory and will follow the pattern of the first burn.
Environmentally Friendly
Soy wax is biodegradable, renewable, and derived from soybeans. It’s a healthier choice for you and the planet.
Slight Color Variations Are Normal
Due to the natural makeup of soy wax and essential oils, color variations may occur over time. This doesn’t affect quality—it just makes each candle uniquely yours.
